Le français, une des langues les plus parlées au monde, semble ne pas s'afficher, parlant de la promotion de la santé (PS). Le REFIPS s'est donné comme objectif la valorisation de la PS à travers l'utilisation de la langue française. Sa méthode de travail qui repose sur une démocratie à la base, contribue à asseoir le concept de PS dans les différentes parties du monde où le français est utilisé. L'exemple de la section Afrique subsaharienne est donné avant de tourner le regard vers l'avenir du réseau et de la PS dans le monde francophone. (Promot Educ 2008; Supp(1): 73-75)
